Today Jessica and I spent the day in Tauranga.
Tauranga is New Zealand’s fifth largest city and home to an estimated 125,000 people. The city lies in the north-western corner of the Bay of Plenty and was settled by Māori late in the 13th century and by Europeans in the early 19th century and was constituted as a city in 1963.
Interactive mural painted by Millie Newitt and Tara Fowler depicting a winged woman, a modern Cupid, shooting a bow towards a hanging seat which invites the public, in this case me, to sit and be photographed in this interactive scene.
As it is the pantomime season, I give you Cinderella’s ugly sisters, oh no it isn’t. Jessica and I in facial masks.
Tomorrow Jessica and I will be off to see The Hobbit.
