Today Andy and I visited his friends Bernice and Mike in Whangarei.
We were given a guided tour of some beautiful scenic places like Whangarei Heads, Parua Bay, Bay of Islands and the protected Waitangi Treaty Grounds set on a stunning site overlooking the Bay of Islands.
Waitangi Treaty Grounds is New Zealand’s most important historic site, and where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between the British Crown and the indigenous Maori in February 1840.
